Are you available 32 to 40 hours a week to pioneer in the development of advanced algorithms for optical measurement and control engineering Then apply to:
Senior Software Developer / Computer Vision
Your Mission:
Our Research & Development department works hard on innovations for our automation systems. In our vision team you will develop existing technical specifications into commercial successful end products. Your focus is on developing your own analyses using machine learning and Computer Vision algorithms written in C and/or Python. The ultimate goal is to optimize the sorting process for mail and parcels using our optical measurement and control technology.
Responsibilities:
- Development of advanced computer vision algorithms for 3D analysis.
- Optimization of code in Python and C for efficient execution on embedded hardware.
- Implementation of computer vision algorithms using OpenCV and machine learning.
- Understanding of the industrial environment to provide solutions to various external influences.
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement innovative solutions.
Your Profile:
- A completed degree (HBO/WO) in Computer Science Engineering Physics or a similar field.
- Proven experience with computer vision and machine learning.
- Indepth knowledge of Python and C.
- Affinity with embedded hardware and Linux is an advantage.
- Problemsolving skills and the ability to develop accurate and efficient solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
