Job Description
GLG Vets are pleased to partner with a wellestablished veterinary practice in Northwest London to recruit an experienced and dedicated Head Veterinary Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a supportive and friendly team in a practice committed to providing highquality care to pets and their owners.
Location: Northwest London
Salary: Up to 36000 per year
Hours: Flexible either a 4day or 5day week available with 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am 5pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the nursing team to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Support veterinarians in all aspects of animal care and surgery.
- Assist with training and development of junior staff and student nurses.
- Monitor patient recovery and assist in postoperative care.
- Oversee the management of clinical supplies and stock.
- Build strong relationships with clients providing them with excellent customer service and support.
Key Requirements:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with relevant qualifications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Benefits:

- VDS RCVS and BVA fees paid.
- Flexible working hours (either 4 or 5day week).
