Job Description

  • Be available to personally assist guests and respond promptly to their requirements in line with Sofitel Luxury service expectations.
  • Ensure personalised efficient luxury service is provided to all guests.
  • Work cohesively as a team member.
  • Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly efficiently and courteously during checkin checkout and throughout their stay.
  • Ensure that all Checkins and Checkouts are processed smoothly accurately and with a personal sense of welcome and farewell in line with Sofitel Standards.
  • Ensure all details on the registration card are transferred to the guests reservation accurately and appropriately so ensure that in future stays we are fully aware of all their needs and requests.
  • Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
  • Maintain communication channels between Club guests and all Hotel departments both verbally and in writing as required.
  • Operate telephone effectively handling all calls promptly and professionally greeting all callers according to Accor policy and transfer all calls to relevant departments responding to requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Use every opportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through product knowledge and upselling skills.
  • Complete the daily shift check list referring any items that require follow up to the Club Millesime Manager or designated Club Millesime leaders.
  • Read the daily log book and memo folder. Read the information boards for new information.
  • Be versed in the VIP arrivals and special requests for the day.

Qualifications :

  • Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.  
  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the Opera Front Office system with respect to reservations check in cashiering and check out. 
  • Always display a professional appearance representing our Sofitel brand. 
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.
