- Act as software detectives provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
The work:
- As an Application Support Engineer you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving software problems ensuring the smooth operation of applications and providing support to endusers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software problems.
- Ensure the smooth operation of applications.
- Provide support to endusers.
- Perform system maintenance and upgrades.
Requirements:
- Required Skill: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
Additional Must To Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
- Strong understanding of application support principles and best practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
- Knowledge of system maintenance and upgrades.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
- This position is based in Manila.
