What you will be doing:
- Provide consistently professional friendly and engaging service to guests at all banquet events.
- Assist guests with beverage and food menu selections offering knowledgeable and helpful recommendations.
- Serve food and beverages for assigned banquet meetings adhering to service standards.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all menu items garnishes ingredients and preparation methods.
- Maintain awareness of beverage lists and promotional offerings.
- Follow all safety sanitation and outlet policies and procedures when handling food and beverages.
- Complete other duties as assigned contributing to the overall guest experience.
Qualifications :
What we are looking for:
- Previous frontofhouse customer service experience required.
- Valid Serving It Right certification is mandatory.
- Experience with pointofsale systems is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in both official languages (English and French) is required.
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities.
- Highly responsible reliable and able to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous while focusing on guest needs.
- A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings weekends and overnights.

Visa Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
