Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine dental exams and cleanings for clients on board various vessels
Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities gum disease and tooth decay
Administer anesthetics and perform extractions and other surgical procedures as needed
Educate clients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care techniques
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all dental treatments and procedures
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on board to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Stay uptodate with advancements in dental technology and techniques
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
Valid state dental license
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice
Experience with surgical procedures and emergency dental care preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to different environments and work well in a team
Willingness to travel and work on board various vessels for extended periods of time
