Pipefitter / Plumber (Master HVAC)
Location: Pawtucket RI
Industry: HVAC
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Master Pipefitter to join their Pawtucket RI Operations Group. This position is ideal for a selfmotivated individual with expertise in commercial HVAC and gas piping systems. The role requires a strong background in HVAC pipefitting along with the ability to lead and manage small projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and will be able to collaborate with a team while ensuring work is completed on time and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- HVAC Piping Installation and Maintenance:
- Install maintain and repair HVAC systems and gas piping systems in commercial environments.
- Work with a variety of piping materials including copper steel and PVC to support HVAC system operations.
- Project Leadership:
- Lead small projects coordinating with other team members and contractors to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Plan and supervise the installation modification and maintenance of HVAC piping systems.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to HVAC piping gas piping and other plumbing components.
- Perform repairs and system adjustments to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Blueprints and Schematics:
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and schematics to guide installation and repair processes.
- Ensure all work complies with industry codes and safety standards.
- Client Interaction and Customer Service:
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure customer satisfaction addressing concerns or questions regarding HVAC systems and piping.
- Provide expert recommendations for system improvements or troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC pipefitting and plumbing with a focus on commercial systems.
- Proven experience in leading small projects and managing HVAC piping installations and repairs.
- Licensing and Certifications:
- Valid Master HVAC Pipefitter license (required).
- Gas piping certification (preferred).
- Additional certifications related to HVAC or plumbing systems are a plus.
- Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems gas piping and plumbing.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Attributes:
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Detailoriented and able to maintain highquality standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Safetyconscious with a commitment to following all industry standards and regulations.
