Ready to spread the word about our exceptional guest experiences? We’re searching for a Director of Sales & Marketing with the strategic nous to help us beat our room night sales goals. Night after night. We looking for a commercial leader capable of hitting all personal and team sales goals, and has the ability to create sales plans that drive revenue as well as the analytical mind to review the hotel’s performance.
Sales Strategy and Leadership
Develop Sales Strategies: Create comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. This includes developing pricing models, sales tactics, and identifying new business opportunities.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure they meet their individual and team targets. Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to improve team performance.
Sales Forecasting: Create accurate sales forecasts based on market trends, historical data, and customer behavior. Use this information to inform business decisions.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring long-term business development and customer loyalty.
Sales Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of sales staff, analyze sales data, and adjust strategies as necessary to improve results.
Marketing Strategy and Leadership
Develop Marketing Plans: Create and execute marketing strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives. This includes planning for digital marketing, advertising campaigns, events, and public relations efforts.
Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing materials, channels, and platforms. Maintain and strengthen the company’s brand image and market presence.
Customer Engagement: Develop strategies to engage and retain customers through personalized marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, and effective communication strategies.
Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, content marketing, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and paid advertising to drive traffic, conversions, and customer acquisition.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer behavior, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities. Use this data to refine marketing strategies.


Desired candidate profile

Bachelor’s Degree, or Higher education qualification or equivalent in International Hospitality Management or a similar field.
Two to Three years’ prior tenure in a commercial leadership role
International luxury hotel chain background
Pre-opening experience is required
GCC experience is required
English fluency is required
Arabic fluency is preferred
Budget and Financial Management
Manage Budget: Oversee the marketing and sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to achieve maximum ROI. Monitor expenses and adjust spending as necessary.
Cost Control: Implement cost-effective strategies for marketing campaigns, advertising, and sales programs while ensuring high-quality execution and outcomes.
Revenue Growth: Focus on generating increased sales revenue by identifying new revenue streams, expanding market share, and ensuring customer retention.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaboration with Product Development: Work closely with product development teams to ensure that sales and marketing strategies are aligned with product offerings and innovation.
Collaboration with Operations: Coordinate with operations to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing initiatives and that promises made to customers are met.
Collaboration with Customer Service: Ensure that marketing and sales efforts are aligned with customer service standards, contributing to an overall positive customer experience.
Communication and Reporting
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on sales and marketing performance, trends, and progress toward objectives.
Report Analysis: Review sales and marketing metrics to analyze the effectiveness of campaigns, sales activities, and overall market performance. Provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Presentations: Create presentations for leadership and external stakeholders, such as potential investors, partners, and key clients.
