Job Description
About the Role
We are hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our clients team. In this role you will be responsible for leading the cloud computing initiatives within the organization directing the architectural aspects of the cloud brokering team and overseeing the integration of IT and business operations. You will plan design and engineer the organizations cloud computing infrastructure and applications leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies to optimize scalability security and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation
Lead the design planning and implementation of cloudbased solutions ensuring alignment with business goals and technology needs.
Engineer cloud infrastructures using various cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud etc.) to ensure scalability security and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to define cloud strategies that support both current and future needs.
Cloud Architecture & Integration
Design and develop cloud architectures and infrastructure considering the full range of cloud services (SaaS PaaS IaaS).
Implement and integrate cloudbased applications ensuring seamless interoperability with existing systems.
Provide leadership and guidance to the cloud brokering team to ensure successful cloud adoption and integration.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with business stakeholders IT teams and vendors to understand requirements and deliver optimal cloud solutions.
Provide technical expertise in cloud strategy development and execution translating business objectives into cloud architecture solutions.
Lead cloudrelated training sessions and provide knowledgesharing opportunities to enhance organizational cloud capabilities.
Optimization & Security
Continuously assess the performance security and costeffectiveness of cloud systems and recommend improvements.
Implement and manage cloud security policies and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources to maintain efficient highperformance cloud infrastructure.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including cloud architecture designs implementation plans and operational procedures.
Provide status reports to stakeholders summarizing cloud implementation progress challenges and performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience
5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role with expertise in cloud infrastructure and applications.
Handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
Strong experience with cloud solutions including SaaS PaaS and IaaS models.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in cloud architecture cloud security and cloud computing concepts.
Familiarity with cloud development and deployment tools (e.g. Terraform Kubernetes Docker).
Knowledge of network protocols APIs and integration tools for cloud solutions.
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes in cloud environments.
Soft Skills
Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
Leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
