About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to design implement and maintain robust security measures for our IT infrastructure. In this role you will focus on system hardening threat mitigation and ensuring compliance with security standards. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the security and resilience of enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
System Hardening: Configure and secure IT systems to protect against vulnerabilities.
Network Security: Design and implement secure network architectures and firewalls.
Incident Response: Investigate and resolve security incidents and breaches.
Security Tools Management: Deploy and maintain security technologies such as IDS/IPS endpoint protection and encryption tools.
Vulnerability Testing: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Access Control: Implement and manage identity and access management systems.
Compliance: Ensure systems comply with security policies regulations and best practices.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of security configurations policies and incident responses.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science or a related field.
Experience
Extensive experience in IT security engineering or a similar role.
Handson expertise in securing cloud and onpremises environments.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g. SIEM IDS/IPS firewalls).
Strong knowledge of encryption protocols and data protection techniques.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security automation.
