The job in brief: 

Job Title   Project Manager Market Expansion
Location   Spain
Working model  hybrid (Madrid) or full remote from Spain
Team   you will join the Packages Value Stream team within the Marketplace department
Level Professional (working in teams or individually on projects with emphasis on technical/discipline knowledge) reporting to Head of Operations for Packages
Contract   Permanent full time (36 h/week)

What your impact will be:

  • In charge endtoend of project management activities related to the opening of new markets and related websites and the launch of new white label partnerships
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders and departments to make sure we meet deadlines and objectives when it comes to the above mentioned projects
  • Closely work with legal and finance departments to ensure we timely perform regulatory compliance tasks related to selling packages (licences renewals forecasts and reporting) 
  • Responsible for understanding and quantifying the business impact of existing and potential regulations on the travel industry. Develop/maintain dashboards and reports to make the information accessible and easytoread for different audiences
  • Oversee website and funnel compliance when it comes to regulations related to travel packages (pricing disclaimers T&Cs and policies etc.)

Qualifications :

Your expertise:

  • BA/MA degree in relevant fields e.g. business marketing tourism
  • 4/5 years experience in similar roles preferably working either in the Travel Industry (OTA/Tour operator environment) or in digital companies
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Great analytical and excel skills are a must basic SQL knowledge is preferred
  • Full proficiency in English. Fluency in multiple languages is preferred
  • Preferred basic understanding of Package Travel Regulations

  • Problemsolving decisionmaking skills and innovative thinking
  • Keen eye for details and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at a time successfully meeting deadlines.
  • Proactiveness and ability to work in autonomy and unsupervised but still with a strong team spirit and able to effectively collaborate in teams

Selection process steps*:

Test step online or offline (excel or a business case)
1st interview with Manager (soft skills technical knowledge)
If successful in previous steps: 2nd interview with the Director
