Areas of Responsibilities:
Business Partnering:
- Under the guidance of the Lead regularly communicate with Hiring Managers on status updates challenges and market trends.
- Serve the current open requirements and provide regular updates to the BU on progress.
- Manage difficult situations with Hiring Managers with assistance from Sr. Recruiters/Leads.
- Provide support as appropriate related to recruiting content for RFPs.
Partner with Sourcing Team:
- Work closely with the Sourcing Partner to ensure they understand the role have a proper reachout strategy for candidates and know how to manage candidates effectively throughout the process.
- Continuously develop and maintain a fitforpurpose talent pool.
- Develop a network through industry contacts association memberships trade groups and the hiring team to help identify and source qualified candidates.
- Leverage the internet including social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
Sourcing Strategies:
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques such as Boolean searches Xray searches and social media mining.
- Implement employee referral programs to tap into existing networks.
- Attend industry events job fairs and networking sessions to build a pipeline of potential candidates.
- Collaborate with marketing to create engaging job advertisements and recruitment campaigns.
- Use data analytics to track sourcing effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
Candidate Experience:
- Understand candidate drivers and respond/resolve queries throughout the entire recruiting cycle.
- Keep candidates engaged through constant communication.
- Work with other internal stakeholders (sourcing onboarding BU teams) to improve candidate experience.
- Bring in innovative approaches to enhance the candidate experience.
Employer Branding:
- Provide a positive candidate experience; effectively represent and market the Cognizant employment brand the organization’s business objectives and career options to potential candidates.
Planning/Organizing:
- Break hiring plans into milestones/events to achieve targets.
- Plan weekend events effectively and ensure success around candidate and panel participation.
- Judiciously use channels/techniques to optimize cost.
- Escalate issues timely.
Quality of Hiring:
- Follow a consistent process and best practices for selecting the highest quality candidates.
- Administer appropriate company assessments.
- Follow up on the interview process status.
- Constantly ensure the very best candidate experience.
Offer & Onboard:
- Provide appropriate support set the right expectations with the candidate (like total rewards internal growth development salary reviews travel etc.) and be professional throughout the offer process.
- Demonstrate indepth knowledge of employment regulations and articulate/extend offers accordingly.
- Articulate offers to selected candidates under the guidance of Leads and within the Cognizant Offer guidelines and appropriate approvals.
- Address candidates’ queries and concerns related to the offer.
- Follow up with candidates for the onboarding process and interact with the POFU team.
- Generate and maintain reports on the number of offers and prospective joiners month on month.
- Work closely with the Onboarding Team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Compliance & Process Adherence:
- Adhere to organization and recruiting policies and processes.
Cost per Hire Ratio:
- Adhere to hiring policies and reflect the same in candidate and stakeholder conversations.
- Negotiate in difficult situations and seek guidance as needed.
Networking:
- Be aware of different networking channels.
- Seek out the expertise of others and develop links with experts and information sources.
- Leverage various opportunities to build the Cognizant Brand (e.g. Meta events).
Hiring Tools/Techniques:
- Utilize various hiring tools and techniques to streamline the recruitment process.
Market Intelligence:
- Possess/develop a basic understanding of market trends and competitors.
- Apply market intelligence to achieve desired results.
