Application Engineer

We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our team of around 1700 people worldwide to help us power up the travellers journey for millions of holidaymakers. Contract   Permanent fulltime (EUR 36 h/week) 

What your impact will be 

• Design implement and maintain our chatbot and contact center solutions ensuring optimal conversational flow performance.

• Define document and enforce system standards as part of a continuous improvement process.

• Troubleshoot incidents and root causes implementing remediation actions to maintain system reliability.

• Collaborate with the Business Product Owner (PO) to enhance customer experiences.

• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements proactively.

Qualifications :

Your expertise:

• Proven experience as a Technical Engineer with expertise in omnichannel customer care solutions.

• Handson knowledge of designing and troubleshooting complex conversational flows.

• Strong software development background: PHP MySQL Javascript CSS HTML Python.

• Expertise in NodeJS and Electron Framework.

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure/services and GITLAB pipelines.

• Basic understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) including TTS and ASR engines.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

• Adaptability communication skills and stress management.

• Oncall availability with sporadic international travel required
