Job Description
Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2025.
Working hours are Monday Friday 12pm 8pm.
As a Laboratory Technician you will process customer samples while maintaining consistent customer service efficiency quality and accuracy standards as required by the company.
- Responsible for accurately logging samples into the LIMs system in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the taking in of customer samples sorting and labelling them.
- Responsible for subcontracting samples as required.
- Responsible for supporting the sales and customer services team in administration and planning.
- Responsible for handling any customer related queries where necessary and liaising with their team to problem solve these queries if needed.
- Responsible for making any necessary changes to internal systems/
- Responsible for communicating regularly with the Laboratory Manager /Laboratory Supervisor/Team Leads of the status of work and for escalating any issues in a timely manner.
- Complete all documentation including training sheets on time accurately and legibly.
- Undertaking general administration duties including photocopying typing filing etc. as required.
- Communicating any technical queries to Laboratory Management.
- Responsible for facilitating training of other staff when required.
- Assist with sample disposal and general laboratory cleaning and maintenance
- Be committed to customer care.
Qualifications :
- Full driving licence is preferable
