Job Summary:
Schaffer Manufacturing is seeking an experienced metals fabrication EstimatorPlanner to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in analyzing project requirements preparing detailed cost estimates and ensuring that all manufacturing processes align with budgetary and technical specifications. This role involves working closely with the sales engineering and production teams ensuring projects are quoted and planned accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in fabrication and cost estimation. WITH 5 years being in Metal fabrication specifically Machining Welding Forming Plate Bar Stainless Carbon Alloy Materials.
- Ability to mentor junior estimators.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks ERP systems). Experience with SolidWorks JobBoss and Paperless Parts a plus.
- In depth knowledge and experience in traditional & advanced techniques and processes of metals fabrication.
- Knowledge of metals testing and services; Anodize Paint PMI Weld NDE Pressure Test etc.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)
