Job Summary | The Loading InCharge is responsible for managing and supervising the vehicle loading process ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with operational standards. This role involves coordinating with drivers maintaining records and addressing any operational abnormalities. |
Key Responsibilities | |
1. Carrier Placement | Ensure carriers are placed at the correct loading bays. |
2. Driver Management | Distribute LPD (Loading Permit Documents) properly to drivers and maintain accurate records. |
Ensure carrier numbers are verified and updated before loading. |
3. Document Verification | Check invoices and associated documents (e.g. Form 22) for accuracy and resolve faded or missing issues promptly. |
4. Loading Operations | Verify that only planned carriers are loaded. |
Ensure vintage cars are dispatched on time and without delays. |
Monitor and ensure zero load pendency. |
5. TITO Monitoring | Maintain and track TimeInTimeOut (TITO) of loading carriers to optimize loading operations. |
6. Reporting and Records | Maintain an Abnormality Board at the loading bay to track issues. |
Prepare Pending Loads MIS with reasons for delays or issues. |
7. Communication | Exhibit politeness and professionalism when interacting with truck drivers to ensure smooth operations. |
Skills Required | Must know how to drive 4W |
Attention to detail for document verification. |
Good communication and interpersonal skills. |
Qualifications | High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred). |
Experience in logistics or warehouse operations. |
Experience | 03 years of experience in loading operations or a similar role. |
Working Hours | Rotational shifts or flexible hours based on operational requirements. |
