Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Develop and implement strategic plans for material management to optimize inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.
2.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships.
3.
Collaborate with production and procurement teams to forecast material requirements and ensure adequate stock levels to meet production schedules.
4.
Oversee the scheduling and coordination of material movements within the facility to support production activities.
5.
Implement efficient material handling procedures to minimize waste improve productivity and enhance safety.
6.
Ensuring timely procurement of raw materials and supplies according to product and project specifications to meet production target as per customer requirements while optimizing costs
7.
Monitor inventory levels and develop inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
8.
Stay updated on industry regulations ensuring compliance with legal requirements and ensure that all raw material that is delivered should meet relevant industry standards such as ASTM IS BS standards as per customer needs.
9.
Ensuring timely procurement of Engineering
