Job Title: Studio Manager
Reports to: Franchise Owner

We believe everyone deserves the mindbody experience of yoga. YogaSix offers six different class types designed to accommodate students of all levels in a way that is energizing empowering and fun. Established in 2012 YogaSix is the fastestgrowing boutique yoga company in the United States with over 200 independently owned and operated locations throughout the US and abroad. We are looking for top talent in Maryland to lead our studio.
POSITION:
The Studio Manager (SM) is the cornerstone of any YogaSix studio and is responsible for its financial and experiential success. The SM oversees all aspects of studio functionality including Sales and Operations as well as the direct supervision of the team. They are also responsible for ensuring the studio is wellmaintained and that customer service standards are upheld. They must have a passion for sales & customer service take pride in their excellent communication skills be a dedicated team leader who drives results and be passionate about health and wellness.

DUTIES
Revenue Generation: Manage and grow all revenue streams including:
o Memberships and Class Packages
o Retail
o Workshops Privates and Teacher Trainings
Student Acquisition and Retention: A successful studio depends on supporting prospective students through the following life cycle:
o Lead Generation
Generating consistent lead flow through a blend of GrassRoots Marketing Social Media and Referrals
o Booking Appointments
Contacting leads promptly to establish relationships and get them booked for a class experience
o Membership Sales
Following a successful initial class experience presenting the best membership option based on the student s goals and overcoming objections as appropriate
o Retention
Ensure new members are onboarded properly and continue to feel the value of membership through both utilizing classes and ensuring class quality is exceptional
Work with Studio Owner and Director of Education to optimize class schedule on an ongoing basis
Marketing: Create and execute ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new client acquisition activation retention and loyalty
o Schedule/participate in Grassroots Marketing partnerships weekly to drive new guest traffic
o Social media management
Leadership
o Recruit hire train supervise coach mentor all wellness advisors
Studio Operations
o Manage studio budget spending and reporting
o Manage maintenance issues inventory and cleaning
o Participate in studio regional and companywide meetings and trainings as needed
o Work closely with the Studio Owner and Corporate Office to ensure the health and profitability of the studio
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Sales & Management Experience
o 2 years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience
o Confident in generating personal sales and training Wellness Advisors in sales
o Experience supervising and training people successfully
o Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams: memberships retail and teacher training
o Proven experience in generating and following up on leads
Communication & People Skills
o Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person on the telephone and via email
o Ability to work harmoniously with coworkers clients and the general public
o Ability to stay calm at all times and act respectfully and professionally even with customers who may voice frustrations
o Strong customer service skills
