Job Description

As a Kitchen Team Member you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen working alongside a fantastic and welcoming team.
You will have opportunities to learn and share knowledge and be part of an environment that brings the best out in you!
A little bit about what you will be doing:
- Actively share ideas opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
- Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
- Run a smooth and efficient service
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
- Prepare and present menu items showing variety and flair within the cost margins specified by the hotel.
- Perform prepping of food and kitchen porter duties.
- Keeping the KP area clean and tidy.
- Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Ensure all equipment is maintained serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Management
- Must be available to work scheduled shifts within the hours of 05:30am 10:00pm
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as Kitchen porter or Kitchen Team Member is prefered but not essential.
- Should be able to MultiTask.
- Can prioritise tasks.
