Job Description
We are currently looking to fill the AWS Principal Architect role and would appreciate it if you could share suitable profiles for this position.
For your reference I have attached the job description (JD).
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification.
Below are the key guidelines for submitting profiles:
- The candidate should be able to onboard in less than 4 weeks. We aim to down select candidates within the next week and a half prioritizing quality over quantity in profile submissions.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with US clients.
- The ideal candidate should be handson and have substantial practical experience.
- Flexibility to work overlapping US hours is a must.
AWS Principal Architect is expected to play a pivotal role in building and implementing infrastructure roadmap for the organization considering various criteria of scalability cost performance security etc.. for different software application needs.
Below are the requirements for System Architect in detail:
- Qualification: Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering System Admin certification AWS certified solution architect LPIC RHCE VCP6DCV network certification like CCNA ITIL certified
- Experience: 10 15 Years
- Target Organizations: Ecommerce/Digital consulting/product companies like Deloitte digital Cognizant IBM Digital Capgemini
- Experience in Unix/Linux : 9 Years
- Experience in Linux/Unix shell scripting (well versed): 6 Years
- Experience in Digital/ecomm application infrastructure: 6 Years
- Experience in hardware/software firewall setup : 6 Years
- Experience in Network & Firewall installation/mgmt(Primarily in Cloud) : 6 years
- Experience in Database installation and Maintenance (MySQL Oracle MS SQL) : 6 Years
- Experience in NonRelational Data (Amazon Redshift Glue Dynamo DB) : 4 Years
- Experience in settingup and configuring Web/App servers (Nginx Apache) : 6 Years
- Experience settingup and managing source control(GIT) : 4 Years
- Experience in AWS Cloud (compute VPC cloudwatch WAF ). : 6 Years
- Experience in infrastructure automation on cloud: 4 years
- Hybrid Cloud (OnPremAWS AWSAzureGCP): 2 Years
- Other Technology Experiences:
- Exposure to no SQL DB like Mongo DB AWS Dynamo DB Redshift
- Experience in other cloud platforms like Google and Azure is preferable
- Should have good knowledge on Network protocols like BGP OSPF ARP DHCP TCP UDP.
- Good working experience in environments having Firewalls proxies
- Experience in settingup/managing highavailability setup like clustering disaster planning
- Having Devops knowledge is preferable
- Experience working on setting up infra for MarTech stack
- Project Experience: Should have done atleast 1 groundup planning and implementation of IT infrastructure. Should have maintained IT infrastructure for a 400 member team consisting of various functional disciplines .
- Responsibilities
- Define infrastructure strategy and plan which includes hardware networking and software (OS Application security monitoring ) on AWS Cloud
- Consult on cloud implementation/adoption considering several data & factors of client organization
- Continuous monitoring and optimization of resources & Cost on cloud platform
- Infrastructure sizing for application
- Disaster planning hot switching cold switching backup & restore
- Implementing disaster plan
- Implementing system and application audit processes
- Writing shell scripts to accomplish sys admin tasks
- Setup and maintain Linux Unix OS based servers
- Setup and configure hardware and software based firewall
- Setup configure and maintain database (MySQL Oracle Mongo DB)
- Setup configure and manage web/app servers Apache Nginx IIS.
- Performance tune web/app servers
- Setup configure and maintain DB and webserver clustering
- Automate network DB webserver/app server monitoring & alert configuration
- Setup and configure SMTP DNS SSL SFTP
- Troubleshoot webserver DB network issues related to fault performance security
- Implement or deploy any software libraries or dependencies needed
