Job Description
Location: JNPT Navi Mumbai
Experience: min 46 years
CTC: Negotiable
Key Responsibilities:
EndtoEnd Container Knowledge:
o Handle the entire lifecycle of container operations including import and export processes.
o Ensure proper documentation for Import General Manifest (IGM) and Export General Manifest (EGM).
o Coordinate with shipping lines port authorities and customs for smooth container clearance and delivery.
Logistics and Inventory Management:
o Oversee logistics operations from warehouse management to final delivery ensuring timely and costeffective solutions.
o Maintain accurate inventory records monitor stock levels and optimize storage and distribution processes.
o Handle inventory audits discrepancies and ensure the timely replenishment of stock as required.
Client Coordination:
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding all operational queries updates and requirements.
o Ensure excellent communication with clients offering realtime updates on the status of their shipments and resolving issues promptly.
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to support longterm business objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
o Collaborate with internal teams (sales finance and logistics) and external stakeholders (suppliers vendors customs etc.) to ensure efficient operations.
o Provide status reports updates and operational performance reviews to key stakeholders as needed.
Grievance Handling:
o Address and resolve any operational grievances from clients or stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
o Maintain records of grievances and resolutions to improve future processes and prevent recurrence.
Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain and manage all operational records including shipment documentation invoices and receipts.
o Prepare reports on operational performance shipment status inventory levels and other relevant data for management review.
Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or related field
Knowledge:
o Comprehensive understanding of both import and export operations.
o Experience with IGM EGM and customs clearance procedures.
o Strong knowledge of logistics operations inventory management systems and warehouse management.
Skills:
o Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
o Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
o Problemsolving skills and ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
o Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word).
