Work Experience:

5 years of experience in database administration with a focus on MySQL Oracle PostgreSQL and MSSQL.

Experience in performing database assessments and have performed planning and upgrades from legacy versions (9G upwards) to latest versions. Oracle GoldenGate

DB Migrations: from OnPrem to Azure experience

Candidate should be Database SME with have minimum of 10 Years experience in Database Management Migration and should have better understanding in Application landscape.

To assess onprem Applications including Database and prepare plan for migration to Azure Cloud.

Candidate should have skills in Data Migration Assessment tool to assess customer Data Workloads for Azure migration

Review and Assess the Data including Database like Oracle MS SQL PGSQL Workloads and suggest the best suited Migration Strategy for Lift and Shift Clean Deploy Re Architecture etc.

Candidate should be well versed with ADX Grafana reporting SQL and Azure infrastructure. The purpose of the role is to understand the datasets and create reports to be consumed by the End customer giving the operational details of the executions.

Proven experience in database automation using PowerShell Python or C.

Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services including App Service Automation and Orchestration.

Experience with Oracle database migrations and PL/SQL scripting.

Familiarity with Visual Studio PowerBI and data visualization tools.

Knowledge of HBase Azure Synapse Analytics VectorWise Pentaho and Tibco is a plus.

Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

Technical skills:

MySQL Database Management:

Design deploy and manage MySQL databases ensuring optimal performance and security.

Handle database backup recovery and performance tuning.

PostgreSQL DBA & Configurations:

Install configure and maintain PostgreSQL databases ensuring high availability and performance.

Optimize database configurations and develop strategies for replication and clustering.

Oracle Database Specialist:

Manage and administer Oracle databases including PL/SQL scripting for queries and stored procedures.

Lead database migration projects from Oracle to other databases ensuring data integrity and performance.

Data Warehouse:

Design and manage data warehousing solutions integrating data from multiple sources.

Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data storage and retrieval.

MSSQL DBA & Azure SQL:

Administer and manage MSSQL databases and Azure SQL focusing on performance security and scalability.

Utilize Azure SQL for cloudbased database solutions integrating with other Azure services.

Automation & Orchestration:

Develop automation scripts using PowerShell Python or C to streamline database operations.

Implement Azure App Service Automation and Orchestration for efficient deployment and management of cloud services.

Azure Cloud Services & Databricks:

Leverage Azure cloud services for database management including automation and orchestration.

Use Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics in cloud environments.

Heterogeneous Database Migrations:

Lead and execute database migration projects from Oracle to other platforms ensuring minimal downtime and data consistency.

Visualization & Reporting:

Develop reports and dashboards using PowerBI integrating data from various databases.

Utilize Visual Studio for database development and integration tasks.
