Job Description

This position supports the development and execution of the marketing strategies and tactics through MultiChannel Marketing (MCM) at the Global Areas and CountryAffiliate level across all Crohns disease (CD) brands.  Collaborates and engages with a cross functional team which includes (but not limited to): customer excellence market access medical affairs regulatory legal health economics public affairs medical and regulatory review patient relations business insights OEC and global learning.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop MultiChannel Marketing strategy for CD brands
  • Ensure channel capabilities are available and ready to implement at Area and Affiliate levels
  • Support implementation of ACE
  • Generating marketing insights that inform strategic and tactical plans
  • Identify commercial opportunities that advance efforts towards the brand objectives and goals
  • Creating and driving multistakeholder initiatives within the overall brand strategy as well as leading communication strategy
  • Developing marketing tools/resources to optimize impact and advancing them efficiently through the formal approval process
  • Lead marketing activities like segmentation/targeting/positioning promotional materials/tactics advertising promotion within assigned budget.
  • Support affiliates in the context of HCP promotion through innovative and impactful strategies & tactics
  • Managing budgets and maximizing resources
  • Contribute to AbbVies leadership position in Gastroenterology
  • Project management & working with vendors and other agencies to lead creative and communication strategy
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director(s) and business leaders to build manage and execute marketing plans to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Contribute within area of responsibility to business and marketing plans process.
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams and build external partnerships.
  • Influence business leaders and effectively collaborate crossfunctionally to deliver business results.

  • Gastroenterology  GBTLs Global Brand Marketeers 
  • Customer Excellence MCM team Learning team 
  • Global Public Affairs Global Medical Affairs Global HEOR 
  • BTS Digital team MABI 
  • Areas Leads 
  • Prioritized Affiliates Business Unit Managers and local Brand Teams 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • 710 years of experience.
  • Proven marketing experience with increased proficiency in all marketing skills.
  • Previous cross franchise/cross channel marketing experience preferred.
  • Digital communication experience. 
  • Ideally Area and/or several Affiliates exposure. 
  • Strategic thinker and organizational skills able to define wellstructured execution plans.
  • Planning organizing and managing multiple projects. 
  • Strong implementation skills and experience. 
  • Networking skills and effective communication that builds effective working relationships with a broad range of internal crossfunctional stakeholders.  
  • Good communication skills and the ability to inspire teams utilizing effective written and oral communication.
  • Knowledge of digital and CRM tools.
