Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and decisive Assistant Manager Security to join our team in Mysuru India. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations of our organization ensuring the safety of our employees visitors and assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills analytical thinking and a customerfocused approach to security management.

  • Lead and manage the security team providing guidance support and mentorship to staff members
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols and procedures to maintain a safe environment
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures across the organization
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to security incidents emergencies and crises
  • Oversee the installation maintenance and operation of security systems and equipment
  • Manage the departments budget controlling costs while maintaining highquality security services
  • Conduct investigations into security breaches incidents or suspicious activities
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and other relevant agencies to maintain strong working relationships
  • Prepare and present detailed security reports to senior management
  • Stay updated on industry trends emerging threats and best practices in security management

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Security Management Criminal Justice or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 34 years of experience in Security or Loss Prevention
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Advanced Security Training designation (strongly preferred)
  • Proficient knowledge of security operating systems inspection protocols and emergency response procedures
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and security management software
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends holidays and overnight shifts
  • Selfstarter mentality with a goaloriented approach
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong decisionmaking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Familiarity with local security regulations and compliance requirements
  • Additional securityrelated training and certifications are a plus
