JOB TITLE: Tool Designer 4 Aerospace
LOCATION: Joint Base Charleston SC
MUST BE US PERSONS

Summary:
-
Develop complex equipment and tooling concepts specifications and offload packages to support aerospace product design and production.
-
Lead design reviews requirements gathering and creation/revision of technical drawings.
-
Research and integrate robotics automation and emerging technologies into build plans.
-
Ensure designs meet safety reliability maintainability ergonomic and regulatory standards.

Oversee documentation for equipment/tooling use inspection preventative maintenance and user training.
-
Drive standard work by implementing best practices into functional process documentation.

Provide technical guidance for engineering changes and discrepancy resolutions.
-
Manage hardware/software maintenance and establish spares requirements.
Required Skills:

Expertise in equipment and tooling design for aerospace applications.

Knowledge of robotics automation and cuttingedge technologies.

Strong skills in technical drawing regulatory compliance and process optimization.

Ability to lead teams and provide technical direction for complex engineering projects.
