Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Conduct detailed market analyses, set ambitious sales targets, and develop effective revenue generation strategies.
Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and identify new business opportunities.
Work closely with various hotel departments, participate in promotional activities, and contribute to revenue strategy meetings.
Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and create reports to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies.
1. Sales Generation and Prospecting:
Lead Generation: Identify and prospect new leads or potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, networking, attending events, or referrals.
Market Research: Understand the target market, customer needs, and competitor landscape to identify business opportunities and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
Sales Outreach: Engage with potential clients through calls, emails, and meetings to introduce products or services, discuss their needs, and promote relevant offerings.
2. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:
Product Knowledge: Be well-versed in the company’s products or services, their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, and effectively communicate these to potential clients.
Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing how the product or service can address their specific needs.
Consultative Selling: Use a consultative approach to identify client requirements and provide solutions tailored to their needs, building strong relationships with clients over time.
3. Sales Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiating Deals: Work with customers to negotiate terms, prices, and other aspects of the deal, ensuring mutual satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
Closing Sales: Close sales transactions by securing purchase commitments from customers. Ensure that contracts, terms, and paperwork are completed accurately and promptly.
Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company. Work closely with the sales team and management to strategize and achieve goals.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
Client Relationship: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to foster repeat business, referrals, and loyalty. Maintain regular contact with key clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
After-Sales Support: Provide post-sales support to customers, including troubleshooting, answering questions, and facilitating smooth transactions.
Customer Retention: Focus on client retention strategies, ensuring that customers are satisfied and return for future purchases.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
Sales Reports: Regularly track and report on sales performance, including sales figures, leads, follow-ups, and any challenges or obstacles faced. Provide insights and feedback to management.
CRM System: Maintain accurate customer records in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring all interactions, sales progress, and follow-up tasks are documented.
Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and update the sales pipeline, keeping track of leads, prospects, and deals in progress to ensure timely follow-ups and closure.

Proficiency in analyzing market trends and tracking sales performance metrics.
Ability to lead, inspire, and support a sales team to achieve shared goals.

Market and Industry Knowledge:
Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Competitor Analysis: Regularly analyze competitors’ products, pricing, and sales strategies to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Sales Skills:
Strong sales techniques and persuasion skills, including the ability to close deals and overcome objections.
Ability to generate leads, network, and build relationships with potential clients.
2. Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients, preparing sales presentations, and negotiating deals.
Ability to clearly explain product benefits, address customer concerns, and articulate value propositions.
3. Negotiation Skills:
Strong negotiation skills to find win-win solutions, ensuring that both the company and the customer are satisfied with the terms of the deal.
4. Time Management and Organization:
Strong time management skills to balance prospecting, sales calls, meetings, and follow-ups while ensuring that deadlines and targets are met.
