We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team in Mysuru India. As a Duty Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daytoday operations of our hotel ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.
- Coordinate and direct various services related to shift operations ensuring smooth and efficient hotel functioning
- Provide prompt courteous and accurate service to all guests maximising customer satisfaction
- Ensure the safety and security of guests visitors and employees by working closely with hotel security personnel
- Optimise room inventory usage through monitoring control and feedback to support departments
- Oversee emergency operations to minimise hotel losses and liability
- Ensure adherence to company policies and operational standards by all departmental employees
- Prepare daily written reports summarising activities and operations during your shift for senior management
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively taking appropriate actions to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle interactions with government officials press and other external stakeholders as needed
- Authorise payments and open stores in case of emergencies
- Implement and maintain energysaving policies throughout the hotel
- Supervise and motivate staff providing guidance and support as necessary
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in hospitality management business administration or a related field (preferred)
- 57 years of experience in a 45 star hotel with a proven track record in management roles
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and decisiveness in handling complex situations
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
- Thorough knowledge of hotel operations including front desk housekeeping and food and beverage services
- Familiarity with company documentation and operational standards
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail
- Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
