RN - Med Surg

Duties: Job Summary: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation to provide delegate supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Skills: Required Skills & Experience: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients families and hospital personnel. Preferred Skills & Experience: N/A

Education: Required Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred Education: Bachelor s degree in Nursing (BSN). Required Certification & Licensure: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. BLS Preferred Certification & Licensure: N/A This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position however as a supplier your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits like: Stipends (for clinical traveler workers only) Medical Dental Vision 401K. Schedule Notes: **13Week contract** Observation unit Tele trained **Nurse to Patient Ration: 4 or 5: 1** 9 bed unit; If there are 5 patients or less there is only one nurse and nurse assistant on floor. There will always be 2 people on the floor. Schedule: 2 positions for night shift 7pm 730am 2 positions for day shift 7am 730pm
