Job Description
Platform Management: Manage and maintain cloud and onpremises platforms including but not limited to AWS Azure VMware and other relevant technologies.Incident Response: Respond to and resolve platformrelated incidents performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.Security Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies ensure compliance with industry standards and perform regular security audits.Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks using languages like Python or PowerShell to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Collaboration: Work closely with Platform Owners Product owners and the development Team to understand the Platform Roadmap and features enhancement ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications and services on the platform.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of platform configurations procedures and policies.Technical Skills:o Proficiency with virtualization technologies like VMware or HyperVo Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloudo Strong scripting skills in Python Bash PowerShell or similar languages.o Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.o Knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP DNS SSL etc.).o Experience with monitoring tools and techniques.Soft Skills:o Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.o Strong communication and teamwork skills.o Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks/Technologies simultaneously.o Proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered
Additional Information :
5 years of experience in Platform operations systems administration or a related field.
