The typical course of instruction may include:

NR581NP:  Foundational Concepts for Advanced Nursing Practice

This course examines the professional standards and fundamental historical theoretical and ethical underpinnings that guide advanced nursing practice. Exploration of concepts related to personcentered care; health outcomes and equity; communication; interprofessional collaboration; and contemporary issues in healthcare will enhance the professional formation of learners.

Qualifications :

• Experience required: 

• Must have DNP or PhD or EdD or other relevant doctoral degree
• A minimum of 2 years teaching with a background in precepting students
• Professional Development experience preferred
• An active unencumbered Compact RN nursing license (Required)
• Must have subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
• Faculty must have excellent communication motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and nontraditional environment
• Proficient in using MS Office (Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint) WebEx/Teams (or similar platform) and Internet with a strong emphasis on Excel

Additional Information :

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position Online:
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected compensation rate for this position is between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1950/Earned Credit Hour depending on the candidates education and experience.

Actual pay may be adjusted based on jobrelated factors permitted by law such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
