Job Description
The individual will assist with early formulation screening to assess the protein stability profile. That includes the preparation of different buffer formulations at different pH and testing the different formulations with the desired protein in terms of different parameters like (protein purity using HPSEC analysis MFI DLS etc.).
General Responsibilities:
- Utilize chromatographic electrophoresis and spectroscopic methods to support inprocess sample testing.
- Independently support ongoing studies and highlevel activities
- Sample preparation
- Data analysis
- Data summary
- Report results
Qualifications :
The successful candidate is expected to have:
- Good understanding of chromatographic electrophoresis and spectroscopic (UV Vis) techniques
- Experience with particle analysis (MFI HIAC) and protein analysis (HPSEC Total Protein)
- Ability to perform labscale protein purification/expression method
- Knowledge of protein chemistry; protein and analytical chemistry
- Experience with mammalian cell culture is a bonus but not necessary
- A basic understanding of CAD is advantageous
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work within a team and also in crossfunctional setting
- Familiar with SOP and GxP requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in a related field with 1 years of experience

Additional Information :
The position is fulltime and permanent MondayFriday 8am5pm with over time as needed. Candidates living near or in from Gaithersburg MD are encouraged to apply.
