Job Description
- Prepare and craft highquality pastry desserts and baked goods with precision and consistency.
- Supervise and mentor junior pastry chefs fostering skill development and ensuring team excellence.
- Monitor stock levels of pastry ingredients and report inventory needs to maintain seamless production.
- Maintain cleanliness organization and efficiency within the pastry workstation.
- Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards ensuring compliance at all times.
- Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to harmonize pastry production with overall kitchen operations.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional pastry kitchen.
- Culinary degree or specialised certification in pastry arts is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pastry preparation techniques baking methods and presentation styles.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a pastry kitchen environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure in a fastpaced setting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a teamoriented environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering highquality and visually appealing creations.
