Job Description
The 9Predict data science team develops builds and delivers data science products to provide audience forecasting and solutions to business problems. Key responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data developing and implementing data science models and communicating findings to stakeholders. We push the envelope in what is possible and work on new and novel implementations of data science techniques.
Major area of focus for the team is forecasting audiences across all of Nines assets (Metro TV Regional TV 9NOW and other channels) to more effectively monetise & yield manage commercial ad inventory.
Role Responsibilities
- Analyse large and complex data sets to uncover insights and trends.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms.
- Collaborate with other data scientists and analysts to design and implement innovative solutions that support business objectives.
- Implement and maintain data pipelines and workflows.
- Conduct data cleaning transformation and validation.
- Create and present clear and concise reports visualisations and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Use data visualisation tools to effectively convey complex data insights to nontechnical audiences.

Qualifications :
Essential qualifications experience & skills;
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python and SQL with a strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as BigQuery or Spark
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience in Kubernetes Airflow Spark MLFlow etc
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker with the ability to create compelling visual narratives.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
Desirable;
- Deep understanding of media industry metrics analytics and audience behaviour.
- Proven experience in designing and executing A/B testing and experimental design methodologies.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading complex crossfunctional projects.
