What you will be doing:
- Offering a professional friendly and proactive greeting delivering engaging guest service from start to finish
- Assisting guests with menu selections in an informative engaging and helpful manner
- Supporting your colleagues during service to ensure a smooth and consistent guest experience including running food refreshing beverages and resetting tables
- Possessing indepth knowledge of the beverage list menu items preparation methods and current promotions
- Addressing guest concerns swiftly and graciously offering remarkable solutions and always seeking to improve
- Being attentive to guests dietary restrictions and allergies ensuring seamless communication among the team
- Staying uptodate with loyalty program offerings and promotions
- Adhering to all outlet policies procedures and service standards
- Following safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role we ask that you have:
- A servicefocused personality with prior experience in a highvolume restaurant environment (preferred)
- Previous experience in luxury hotels or the servicebased industry (ideal but not required).
- A genuine passion for food and beverage
- Ability to focus on guest needs while remaining calm courteous and professional at all times.
- Strong communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team while also working independently when necessary
- A sense of urgency and a Yes yes yes mentality with a Can do attitude
- Highly responsible reliable with impeccable grooming standards and professionalism
- Knowledge of wine spirits beer cocktails and specialty coffees (an asset)
- Valid Serving It Right Certification
- Flexibility to work a fluctuating schedule including weekends holidays evenings and rotating shifts
Physical Aspects of the Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
- Frequent ascending or descending ladders stairs and ramps
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Occasional kneeling pushing and pulling
