Job Description
Working as part of a friendly and welcoming team your role will include the following duties:
- Clean guest rooms storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required standard and in time allocated
- Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards for the room type.
- Report any lost property following correct procedures
- Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated.
Qualifications :
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is desirable
- Friendly nature willing to communicate with guests
- Conversational English is highly preferred as you will be talking to guests and taking instructions.
- Good mobility to ensure clean and tidy rooms for guests in the allocated timeframe.
- This role involves manual labour heavy lifting and constant repetitive actions all in a fast paced environment. A moderate level of fitness is required to be successful in this rewarding role.
- Full Australian Working Rights are Essential
