Job Description

The Chief Concierge is responsible for the highest levels of guest satisfaction and service excellence by consistently delivering warm personalised and anticipatory assistance to all guests from the moment of their arrival to their departure. Main duties of your role will include:

  • Lead and oversee the concierge team to deliver outstanding and personalised guest services ensuring all guests receive a warm and courteous welcome. 
  • Manage the daytoday operations of the concierge desk ensuring all tasks and guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently. 
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of local attractions events and services acting as a cultural connoisseur for Mondrian guests. 
  • Drive and supervise the usage of the Mondrian Hotel Car as needed ensuring guests receive seamless and luxurious transportation service. Ensure that the hotel car amenities are well maintained. 
  • Supervise train and motivate the concierge team to achieve high levels of service excellence and efficiency. 
  • Provide a customised check in for VIP clientele by welcoming them at the point of arrival and escorting them to their room as well as farewelling them upon departure to personally verify guest satisfaction.  
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local vendors attractions and service providers to offer exclusive experiences and services to Mondrian guests. 

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Chief Concierge or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel or resort. 
  • Exceptional knowledge of the Gold Coast region including local attractions restaurants events and cultural landmarks. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a highperforming team. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with guests and anticipate their needs. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and public holidays. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Experience in Opera Cloud PMS is highly advantageous. 
  • Full Australian working rights are essential.
