Job Description
Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Operate and monitor all processes in the STP including pumps blowers clarifiers UV systems and other equipment.
- Record and interpret data from SCADA systems flowmeters and sensors.
- Conduct process adjustments to ensure efficient treatment and adherence to discharge standards.
- Collect and test water samples for parameters such as pH BOD COD and TSS.
- Manage chemical dosing systems for disinfection and pH control.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all STP equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical electrical and instrumentation issues.
- Maintain and update maintenance logs records and reports.
- Replace or repair faulty equipment including valves pumps and sensors.
- Ensure all tools and spare parts are available and in good condition.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly reports on plant performance and maintenance activities.
- Maintain records of equipment inspections breakdowns and repairs.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process optimization.
- Adhere to environmental and safety regulations during operations and maintenance.
- Ensure proper disposal of sludge and other waste materials.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures for all tasks.
- Coordinate with environmental authorities for compliance monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications :
Qualifications: Diploma Degree in Chemistry or Environment
Experience: 02 Years of experience in the water treatment field
