Job Description
The AECOM Transportation Business Line is actively seeking a highly motivated Construction Engineering Supervisor for our Madison WI office. The Construction Engineering Supervisor will oversee a wide variety of highway and bridge projects for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). This position offers tremendous growth potential.
The Construction Engineering Supervisor will have a background in the Construction Management / Construction Engineering & Inspection (CM/CEI) industry for highway and bridge projects. Experience with WisDOT is strongly preferred.
The Construction Engineering Supervisor provides strategic plan and delivery on key CM/CEI project needs and initiatives. Given the tremendous growth potential the Construction Engineering Supervisor will have the ability to hire mentor and expand the teams experience client base and range. The Construction Supervisor is the primary point of contact to the client and acts as a liaison between management and clients on multidisciplined projects. In addition the Construction Engineering Supervisor will:
Experience in being able to recognize opportunities for strategic growth and being able to build and lead teams to meet these opportunities
Establish relationships with both internal and external clients and customers including industry associations and other potential consultant teams and construction contractors
Prepare and deliver presentations required to win the work.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree plus six (6) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
A motor vehicle check is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or equivalent
Registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin
10 years of project and client management experience as well as proven success managing multiple concurrent projects
Travel may be required within the WisDOT SWR
