Applus IDIADA is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team. This role is crucial to driving revenue growth enhancing customer relationships and ensuring annual sales targets are met.
Main duties:
- With the aim to forge a longterm trustful relationship your main objective will be to detect new business opportunities as well as to assure in situ a close followup of the open ones working together with IDIADAs international product teams.
- You will also take care of the organization of clients visits/meetings and of the correct execution of invoicing/payment procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Keep and increase existing contacts within the automotive industry aiming at detecting project opportunities with special emphasis on forging longterm trusting relationships.
- To make a market investigation canvass operations reply to clients requests for quotations push and follow up on offers and conduct project negotiations with the support of the sales team and the Product/ Project Managers from our headquarters.
- Collaborate with other members of IDIADA Global Sales and Client Management team and IDIADA North America.
- Develop relationships in the areas of engineering R&D and management teams of our Clients.
- Liaise and involve key players within the organization to ensure that the clients requests are replied to in a proper manner and on time.
- Comanage account receivables ensuring that payments are received on time.
Requierements:
- Professional experience in a similar position.
- Good communication skills and confident in discussions at different hierarchical levels.
- Ability to convince through technical arguments and to express to the client the points of common interest focused on finding the most suitable aspects for both sides.
- Goal driven with strong customer and service orientation.
- Open to work in a very international company with multicultural teams.
- Willingness to travel at international level. Frequent visits to Spain will be required.
- Good technical knowledge of the vehicles functions and attributes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree ideally in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Fluet in English.
- Fluent in Spanish is appreciated.
- Experience working in the North America Area.
- Experience working in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Previous experience in the automotive sector in a sales technical or project management role.
