A manager in the technology project management and delivery space has the primary responsibilities of: leading and developing a team of Project Managers; ensuring the successful management and delivery of complex IT projects (e.g. software development and implementation) and programs; directly managing large enterprise initiatives to ensure project managers and other team members across all workstreams are aligning activities to support successful and timely delivery; supporting budgeting contract and vendor management practices; supporting Pilots agile maturity objectives; communicating and executing on PMO standards processes deliverables and services; leading and supporting various portfolio planning management and reporting needs; and building strong.
Essential Functions
Hire coach and oversee the career development of project managers including holding regular one on one meetings leading team meetings and conducting performance reviews
Support the refinement and maturity of Pilots project management practice
Guide complex IT programs and projects through governance and gating processes from inception and prioritization through deployment measurement and support
Ensure ongoing understanding alignment and communication of the IT PMOs standards practices and processes with all leaders and stakeholders
Review contracts proposals budgets requests and other data to determine funding and staffing requirements and be accountable for fulfilling those requirements
Work directly with the business planning and execution team to communicate staffing needs and ensure funding for enterprise strategic initiatives.
Partner with the leaders of Pilots budgeting contract and vendor management practices; champion and contribute to the advancement of those practices
Work closely with product management business and technology leaders
Support the refinement and maturity of Pilots agile practices
Collaborate regularly with other technology PMO Managers as well as business planning and execution team portfolio and program managers
Support value realization activities and work with the business planning and execution team to ensure alignment with Pilot Companys key objectives and strategies
Proactively build strong interpersonal relationships with technology product and business leaders and support them in various ways including creating and delivering reports and presentations as well as building processes and fulfilling activities to achieve effective decisionmaking
Complete other duties and lead other initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in related field (e.g. business management information technology computer science project management etc.) required
Minimum five years technology project management experience required
Minimum three years proven team leadership experience required
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification held for a minimum of three years preferred
Experience in digital product development and/or retail or fuel industries preferred
Experience in business analysis preferred
Project Management Institute Agile Certified Professional (PMIACP) Certification preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred
Certified Change Management ProfessionalTM (CCMPTM) or other organizational change management certification preferred
