Strategic Sourcing Manager

Role 

The scope of Strategic Sourcing Manager is to build strong relationships with their internal business units and drive enterprisewide sourcing category management contract negotiation and delivery of the Marketing category including but not limited to Event Management Event Venue  as well Advertising CreatingMarket Research Promotional Items Lead Generation and Print. Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance within categories; manage and execute appropriate sourcing process and procedures. This role provides leadership and direction in support of the companys Marketing functions for Strategic Sourcing.

• Conducts supplier analysis evaluates potential suppliers and support the overall supplier qualification process develops and create sourcing plans and category strategies requests for proposal and other sourcing documents evaluates and recommends purchasing and sourcing decision to management.
• Review spend analysis assess and proactively seek opportunities for Cost Savings and Avoidance
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal results
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
• Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking
• Assess manage and mitigate risks
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
• Actively seek out industry knowledge through research trade shows conferences and online training establishing yourself as a trusted advisor

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role we need someone who has:

• Minimum of four years of experience in strategic sourcing with at least 2 years sourcing the marketing category
• Indepth knowledge and familiarity with the sourcing landscape managing Marketing spend in Events.

• Firstclass professional and interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with diverse internal and external resources and groups

• Expert knowledge of office productivity wordprocessing and various other computerbased or online website proposal software. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of RFP process and standard business practices and procedures.
• Both strategic and tactical sourcing experience
• Ability to articulate category strategies
• Solid judgment and ability to make good decisions
• Comfortable negotiating and networking
• Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
• Ability to work independently

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $112200 $196400 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. We also offer health plans including flexible spending accounts a 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP matching donations a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
