Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

The role is responsible for providing excellent service to flyadeal customers, making new bookings; modifying existing

booking and providing an excellence customer experience, handling Customer disputes at the airport during flight

disruption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain face to face sales and enquiries from customers at the airport, following SOPs.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience and to achieve individual revenue and quality targets.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all flyadeal products, services, and systems,
  • Provide accurate information and updates at all times.
  • Promote and sell relevant additional products to enhance the customer’s journey.
  • Ensure all data entered into flyadeal systems is accurate and within established guidelines.
  • Participate in all team efforts and projects, communicating feedback to escalating recurring issues identified during each shift.
  • Deal professionally with customer issues, taking all possible actions to resolve the issue to their fullest satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all sales (as per Daily Sale Report) are accurately reconciled and banked as per SOP.
  • Work with CEC team and airport colleagues to minimize disruption to Customers during flight delays and cancellations.
  • 1. Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Drive sales in airport retail outlets, duty-free shops, or airline services by promoting products and services to customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, ensuring the overall profitability of the store or service area.
  • Actively engage with passengers, providing product recommendations and upselling relevant items or services to enhance the customer’s experience.
  • 2. Customer Service Excellence:

  • Deliver a high level of customer service by assisting travelers with their purchasing needs and inquiries.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints professionally and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with frequent travelers, ensuring they have a positive shopping or service experience.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 1 years of job-related experience. or High School Qualification with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
Experience in reservations/ticketing, sales, customer services.
Fluency in English Language
eamwork and Collaboration:
Work closely with the airport’s sales and operational teams to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, achieve sales goals, and improve customer service.
Participate in team meetings to discuss performance, challenges, and ideas for improving sales operations.
Key Skills for an Airport Sales Officer:
Sales Skills: Ability to sell products effectively, upsell, and meet sales targets.
Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact positively with diverse customers.
Product Knowledge: A strong understanding of the products or services being sold, particularly those suited for travelers.
Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication to engage customers and explain product benefits.
Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve customer issues or concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
Time Management: Efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks, especially in a busy airport environment.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues to meet operational goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring that products are well displayed and transactions are processed accurately.
