CMS (Commercial and Money Movement Solutions) represents a key strategic growth area for Visa as we seek to digitize commercial payments and money movement flows supporting financial institutions fintechs and fintech enablers corporates and governments. CMS delivers value through:
- Commercial solutions: B2B credential solutions and supporting data analytics and services for small businesses midmarket large corporates and governments
- Money movement: Send/receive funds domestically and crossborder to any card account or wallet globally with the features that are most relevant for your use case.
We are looking for versatile curious and energetic Software Engineer who embraces solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Visa Software Engineer you will be an integral part of a multifunctional development team inventing designing building and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. While building components of powerful payment technology you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.
Essential Functions:
- Establish software development patterns and best practices via examples and shipping code.
- Ensure that all relevant project teams follow a common set of principles and patterns and utilize a standard set of technology frameworks and libraries.
- Apply architecture best practices that helps increase execution velocity.
- Contribute to key GenAI initiatives for developer productivity and product innovation.
- Influence technology selection for the enterprise.
- Optimize use of Visas Platforms & Solutions.
- Lead and plans the piloting and integration of new technology capabilities and features
- Analyze patterns across bugs and implements systemic solutions to ensure websites remain functional and easy to use.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- 10 years of relevant work experience with a bachelors degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 4 years of work experience with a PhD OR 13 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of experience with a bachelors degree or 810 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD or MD) PhD with 6 years of experience
- Must be technically capable and a selfstarter with strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Experience in Java language Spring Hibernate Angular React JavaScript jQuery AJAX and HTML5/ CSS3
- Expert in web service standards and related patterns (REST gRPC)
- Advanced knowledge of AI / Generative AI / Data Science.
- Proven knowledge of successful design architecture and development of
- Shared Services and framework including Micro Services Container Technologies Caching API gateway and Security.
- Continuous delivery and Dev Ops experience infrastructure automation monitoring logging auditing and security implementation and practices.
