Job Description
- Provide technical assistance to survey data collection (phone surveys; perception surveys, household budget surveys) and statistical modernization
- Contribute to analytical work including the Jordan Poverty and Equity Assessment, fiscal incidence and its welfare consequences (CEQ) as well as the welfare impact of COVID on host communities and refugees
- Facilitate collaboration on the analytical agenda with national universities and think tanks
- Contribute to the operationalization of the gender agenda in the MASHREQ region, including substantive contributions to the (annual) MASHREQ gender reports
- Contribute to the overall micro-monitoring effort and any poverty-related policy and programmatic interactions with internal and external clients (e.g., development partners)
- Prepare data dissemination products, including maps, data portal and inputs to reports, in some cases drawing from administrative data
- Collaborate closely with the authorities to enhance the poverty and shared prosperity focus of the country program
