Job Description
As a new member of our team we will offer you complete training to be a Laboratory Technician with a great team to support you throughout your learning phase.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Carrying out PCR on DNA samples using our patented KASP technology.
- Carrying out DNA extraction from a range of starting materials using our inhouse extraction technologies.
- Supporting and following local quality management systems
- Following standard operating procedures and ensuring high quality standards are maintained in all processes
- QC / validation of constituent reagents for reaction mixes
- Aliquoting / labelling of reaction mixes and data entry.
- Using robotics to handle samples
- Updating and maintaining accurate records
- General Laboratory housekeeping
Qualifications :
- Can do attitude
- Full training will be provided.
