Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Design

The role of Civil Engineer Infrastructure Design is a critical position within our organization demanding a high level of expertise and professionalism. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Executing specific and strategically defined components of broader engineering initiatives under the guidance of seasoned professionals.
2. Meticulously gathering and correlating essential engineering data utilizing established and welldefined methodologies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
3. Addressing detailed and routine engineering assignments that involve complex calculations and sophisticated testing procedures.
4. Demonstrating innovative problemsolving skills by proposing wellreasoned approaches to overcome newly encountered challenges.
5. Conducting thorough analyses to identify and rectify discrepancies in results ensuring the highest standards of quality control.
6. Providing mentorship and professional guidance to entrylevel engineers fostering their growth and development within the organization.
7. Executing projects with a high degree of autonomy adhering strictly to agreedupon budgets and schedules while operating under moderate supervision.

Qualifications :

Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution

• 4 8 years relevant experience post qualification in infrastructure design
• Professionally registered with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa)
• Own reliable transport
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software
• Strong knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven track record in designing sustainable and costeffective infrastructure solutions
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers and fostering team development
