- Inspect components for damage verify configurations and determine testing needs.
- Conduct preliminary functional tests and record results to assess part capability.
- Disassemble clean and inspect parts for damage corrosion and conformity to specifications.
- Evaluate repair or overhaul costeffectiveness and submit estimates.
- Order replace repair and reassemble components of basic to moderate complexity such as brakes wheels actuators and struts.
- Apply coatings conduct functional tests and assemble components for production.
- Complete required documentation and assist with metrology certifications if qualified.
- Support engineers in developing improved aircraft components.
- Perform machining tasks and if qualified act as Designated Inspector (DI).
- Collaborate with team members within areas of expertise.
Qualifications :
You typically have at least 1 year experience or equivalent with inspecting repairing overhauling and testing pneudraulicmechanical components and/or systems (preferred)
You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license (preferred)
You have 1 year of machining experience (preferred)
