Job Description
The role
With around 140 lawyers and 15 Partners the key areas of expertise of the Clifford Chance Luxembourg office include: Banking Finance and Capital Markets Corporate Investment Funds Tax Litigation and Real Estate.
Our Corporate department advises major domestic and international companies and private equity houses on public and private M&A disposals demergers joint ventures restructurings corporate governance and regulatory compliance with a particular focus on complex crossborder transactions.
Our team is composed of 3 Partners and about 35 lawyers from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Working languages are French English and German.
We are looking for a Senior Associate to further strengthen our Corporate team. You will work on on a broad range of matters including:
- Mergers and Acquisitions
- Private equity real estate and infrastructure transactions
- Reorganisations and restructurings
- Intragroup and third party financings
- Capital Markets
- Joint Ventures
- General corporate and transactional services
You will also be able to develop your soft skills such as drafting client relationship management and development knowledge management as well as mentoring of junior team members.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years experience in corporate law ideally gained within a large international law firm in Luxembourg
- You are a qualified lawyer ideally admitted to the Liste I
- Expertise working on complex transactions in the M&A PE/RE/Infra or renewable energy sectors
- Fluency in English and French and/or German
- Excellent client and team management skills
- Proactive team spirited and able to demonstrate good communication skills
- Dynamic and eager to learn
