Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Texture Artist to work on our amazing AAA project: Rainbow Six Siege. If you have a passion for videogames and want to work in a friendly and international environment come join our team!
What youll do
- Texture Hero asset like Characters and Weapons.
- Creates/modifies highquality texture maps for PBR materials.
- Creates and maintains a texture and material library following the visual direction of the project.
- Makes choices and communicates them accordingly to reach the expected quality for optimized textures.
- Anticipates and suggests improvements to solve technical issues.
- Participate in plan texture production with the immediate supervisor.
- Fix bugs related to textures and materials.
Qualifications :
What youll bring
- Demonstrable experience in texturing modelling lighting or image processing or other relevant experience in video game development.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Indepth knowledge in Substance packages especially Substance Designer.
- High understanding of physically based rendering (PBR) pipelines
- Very good knowledge of texture mapping and materials understanding of constraints.
- Ability to use efficiently the texture space and to take into consideration the pixel ratio.
- Good sense of detail color lighting value in regard to texture creation and material settings.
- Good English and communication skills.
- Ability to receive feedback adapt to change and to clearly communicate ideas.
Nice to have:
- Experience in 3D software packages 3DS Max Blender Maya or Zbrush.
- Passion for games and strong games culture.
