Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner Scheduler to assist the Field Mechanical team with developing mechanical maintenance strategies arranging weekly down days and managing secondary work.

With interactions across various departments you will require solid written and verbal communication skills enjoy solving maintenance problems and be an effective team player.

To be successful in this role you will ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and a commitment to working together as part of a capable friendly and professional team to achieve business objectives. You will also enjoy the challenge of maintaining an array of different machines from 500t excavators down to 20t Excavators along with Overburden drills. Reviewing and implementing preventative maintenance and managing small projects.

This is your opportunity to join a team of passionate and supportive industry leading experts contributing to a positive culture of continuous improvement. You will possess at least three (3) years experience in a mechanical planning function. SAP experience is highly desirable.


Qualifications :

  • You will need to possess a mechanical trade qualification and experience in large open cut mining operations specifically the maintenance of Excavators and Overburden Drills.
  • Relevant trade qualification or engineering degree.
  • Previous planning experience and a welldeveloped understanding of Excavator and Drill maintenance strategies.
  • Ability to focus on longterm solutions ongoing innovation maintenance costs workplace efficiencies.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Programs SAP Obzervr Link One and OEM parts systems are highly desirable.
